This exciting teaching assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for great flexibility and an enjoyable work life balance. We are looking for passionate and exceptional individuals to work with us at some amazing schools in Birmingham. No qualifications required, we value any experience working alongside children or within a school setting! This rewarding role is to start after the February Half Term on a flexible, temporary work basis.

Teaching Assistant responsibilities

  • You will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may require additional academic and/or behavioural support.
  • You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher's guidance to deliver material and interventions.
  • You will be expected to support and follow the school's policies and procedures.
  • You will be given support and guidance on how to do this.

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant role you should have:

  • Relevant experience working alongside children within a school or care environment.
  • The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
  • A genuine passion for education and learning.

Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive rates of pay between £90 - £110 per day.

Additional Requirements

  • Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
  • Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service; if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
