PK Education is currently working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Birmingham to recruit an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant to support within a KS1 classroom. This full-time, long-term position is available immediately and would suit a proactive TA who thrives in a fast-paced Key Stage 1 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils within a KS1 classroom setting
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Supporting phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy
- Assisting with personal care routines where required
- Promoting pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
Requirements
- Previous experience working within KS1
