PK Education is working in partnership with a specialist school in Doncaster to recruit committed and resilient Learning Support Assistants and Support Workers for a September start.

The role involves supporting a Key Stage 3 class consisting predominantly of male pupils with a range of additional needs.

The Role

Supporting Key Stage 3 pupils with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and complex additional needs.

Working alongside the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team.

Providing both classroom-based and 1:1 support where required.

Encouraging communication, independence and positive behaviour.

Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with children or young people with SEND, autism or complex needs.

Background in education, care, youth work, residential support, coaching or similar support roles.

Calm, patient and resilient with excellent communication skills.

Able to build positive, consistent relationships with young people.

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

What We Offer

Competitive pay of £12.04 - £14.43 per hour (depending on experience and payroll method).

Full-time opportunity starting in September.
