Pay: £25 - £35 per hour (dependent on experience)

PK Education are working with local authorities in South Yorkshire to support looked after children who are currently not accessing full-time education. We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide tailored, one-to-one support, helping students re-engage with learning and build confidence.

This is a highly personalised role, focused on meeting the individual needs of the learner rather than following a traditional classroom approach. Sessions will typically be up to 15 hours per week, delivered in a home or community setting, focusing on core subjects such as Maths and English alongside general engagement.

This role requires patience, consistency, and the ability to build trust. Many of the learners have faced barriers to education, so the ability to adapt your approach and create a positive learning experience is key.

We are looking for individuals with teaching, tutoring, or strong support experience, particularly those who have worked with vulnerable young people or in alternative provision settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference on a one-to-one basis.
