PK Education is recruiting a dedicated, organised and enthusiastic SENCO Assistant to join a School in Coventry for an immediate start!
The school has recently opened its brand-new building, marking an exciting new chapter for its students and staff.
With a strong commitment to inclusion, individual achievement and pastoral care, the school prides itself on creating a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of SEND provision across the school
- Assisting with EHCPs, Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and student support documentation
- Monitoring student progress and helping coordinate targeted interventions
- Supporting students with a range of additional learning, communication and social-emotional needs
- Liaising with teaching staff, parents and external professionals
- Maintaining accurate SEND records and supporting reviews and meetings
- Helping create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
We're Looking For:
- A good understanding of SEND, EHCPs and inclusive education
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- The confidence to work collaboratively with teachers, families and specialist professionals
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and helping them succeed
