PK Education is recruiting a strong Maths Teacher for a school in Chesterfield, starting after the October half term until January, with the potential to continue.
You will teach KS3 and KS4 Maths. We are looking for a confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge, effective behaviour management and high expectations of every student.
The role:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching to support and challenge students.
- Establish clear routines and maintain a positive, focused classroom.
- Work with the Maths department to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students of different abilities.
- Availability from after October half term until Christmas.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
