The off-cycle internship is a 5-month programme beginning January 2027 through May 2027. Off-Cycle Analysts in London will have the opportunity to work across the Strategic Advisory Group and the Restructuring & Special Situations Group. Successful Off-Cycle Analysts will be considered for a Full-Time Analyst return offer pending performance on the job.

The Strategic Advisory Group consists of one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry, focusing on a diverse set of industries, including financial institutions, healthcare, industrials, energy, power & utilities, real estate, and technology, media & telecommunications. The Restructuring and Special Situations Group advises large companies, governments, and creditor groups in financially distressed situations, providing a wide range of strategic advisory services.

Responsibilities:

  • Off-Cycle Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including sellsides, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, private placements and leveraged buyouts.
  • Involvement in the development, structuring and financing of transactions.
  • Attendance at internal and client meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
  • Financial analysis and modeling.
  • Drafting of client presentations.
  • Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use.
  • Conducting financial and other business-related research.
  • Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes.
  • Assistance in the execution of transactions.
  • Active involvement in client facing situations.

  • Outstanding qualitative, technical and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance.

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time university student or a recent graduate (graduation no earlier than June 2026).
  • Available to start from January 2027.
  • Graduation date no later than June 2027.
