Responsibilities:
- Working directly with financial sponsor and corporate clients across all industries in evaluating, structuring, recommending and executing financing alternatives across the capital structure.
- Advising clients on a broad range of transactions including:
- synchronized acquisition financings and refinancings
- private credit lending
- par and stressed refinancings
- liability management, including Exit Financings, A&E and Exchange Offers
- growth and venture capital
- structured, hybrid and infrastructure financings
- Collaborating directly with clients and working closely with senior members of the Strategic Advisory team, many of whom were previously group heads at leading investment banking firms.
- Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including the analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestitures.
- Leading the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiation with lenders on key financing documents.
- Working with senior management to coordinate associate/analyst materials.
- Designing and developing financing models to assess the impact of various financing structures on companies and shareholders.
- Participating in both internal and external client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a top-ranked university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets advisory, restructuring or direct lending at an investment bank or credit fund.
- ACA or CFA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- Resume must include graduation month/year and GPA, if applicable.
