Work on a wide variety of financing transactions including mergers, acquisitions, first-time debt raises, refinancing, asset sales, restructurings, and divestitures. Collaborate closely with the power & utilities, energy transition, and digital infrastructure team with a capital markets focus. The small size of this group offers professionals the unique opportunity to gain client exposure and work closely with senior members of the Strategic Advisory team, many of whom were previously group heads at leading investment banking firms. Lead the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, credit analysis, and negotiating contracts and other agreements; work with senior management and coordinate associate/analyst materials. Design and develop quantitative models to assess debt-specific financing options that drive the overall recommendation to the client. Prepare written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities for PJT Partners management and review by clients. Aid in producing focused pitch materials including qualitative and quantitative outputs. Participate in internal and external client meetings, negotiation of contracts, and due diligence sessions. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor\’s Degree. 3-4 years of investment banking experience. Experience in debt infrastructure/infrastructure financing within an investment banking setting. Strong background in finance, accounting, and legal documentation, responsible for structuring (including modeling) and executing investment-grade, leveraged, and distressed financings across infrastructure, working with various capital providers.
