A leading Bus company have an urgent vacancy for an experienced Engineering Manager for their garage based in Plumstead, South East London. Reporting to the Engineering Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for the safe, smooth and cost effective management of the engineering department.
The Engineering Manager will have a thorough knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, preventative maintenance procedures, budget control and planning with knowledge and understanding of the latest DVSA standards is required, along with the ability to motivate, manage and develop a team of both skilled and unskilled staff.
The ideal Engineering Manager will be able to demonstrate a proven career to date, be pro-active with a high attention to detail, be PC literate and have the desire to achieve in all areas in this demanding environment.
