The Role
Our drivers play an important part in delivering the FIRST CHOICE service our customers expect from PJH. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering bathrooms and appliances directly to our customers, making sure every delivery is completed safely, efficiently and with great customer service.
You will complete multiple deliveries each day, following your planned route and dealing directly with our customers. As one of the faces of PJH, we are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do, enjoys dealing with customers and understands the importance of getting things right first time.

What You’ll be Doing
- Completing your planned daily delivery route, ensuring customer orders are delivered safely and on time
- Representing PJH when delivering to our customers and providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery
- Checking orders and delivery information to ensure products are delivered accurately
- Taking care when handling bathrooms, appliances and other products to ensure they reach our customers in the expected condition
- Completing all required delivery paperwork and driver records accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or concerns promptly
- Taking responsibility for the security and condition of your vehicle throughout the working day
- Keeping in contact with the Transport team and communicating any delivery issues or delays
- Ensuring driving hours, breaks and tachograph requirements are followed at all times
- Working safely and responsibly, following road transport legislation, Health and Safety requirements and PJH procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A valid UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- A good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
- Great customer service and communication skills
- A professional and responsible approach to driving
- Someone who takes pride in delivering a great service
