We are a mid-sized (c 40 staff) specialist tax firm dealing with international personal tax, mainly UK taxation of foreign nationals and US taxation of its citizens and residents.
We require trainees to learn UK and US taxation. The role would suit either those with no experience or those with UK experience who wish to branch out into US tax.
We provide both in-house and external training, support Association of Taxation Technicians (UK) and Enrolled Agent (US), pay course and examination fees, and provide paid time off for training and examinations.
We are flexible, both in terms of set hours and home working. No suits and no timesheets in the office.
The ideal candidate will have A-levels (or similar) or above. They will be a hard-working quick learner, able to show initiative, have good writing and communication skills, and be comfortable with numbers.
Salary: From £28k a year (rising to £29k a year after probation).
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours - Monday to Friday.
Location: Farringdon/ Clerkenwell.
