PJA is looking for Drainage specialists to support the continuing success of our growing Water Team. We are a friendly team of specialist consultants working to deliver holistic water management solutions for our clients, working across all aspects of the water sector including, but not exclusive to, flood risk, surface water management, foul water management, water quality, water resources (efficiency/neutrality) and hydraulic modelling.

The ideal candidate will have the following key characteristics at a suitable level for respective grade/position:
- A passion for green-blue infrastructure, sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), nature-based solutions.
- Knowledge of (or be able to learn) hydraulic design principles and hydrological processes and be able to apply these.
- Be able to (or learn to) actively promote sustainable drainage solutions within our work.
- Be able to interpret existing information, drawings and modelling data and scope surveys to facilitate the delivery of sustainable solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of applying policy and guidance, ideally including:
- NPPF and PPG
- Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition, Sewerage Sector Guidance, Code of Adoption Agreement
- The SuDS Manual (CIRIA C753) and National Standards for SuDS
- The Water Industry Act, Flood & Water Management Act, Land Drainage Act etc.
- Causeway Flow
- FEH
- AutoCAD GIS.
