We are looking for a Baker to assist our morning baking team with the production of fresh cream, morning goods, savouries, some bread products and confectionery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Wales’s longest established bakeries, 128 years this year.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year’s experience within the industry, formal qualifications preferred but not essential.
- To be able to work efficiently and effectively.
- An attention to detail and a desire for quality.
- To be physically fit.
- The ability to manage your own time and routine whilst working.
Responsibilities:
- Working independently, as part of the morning team, to produce our confectionery and savoury lines.
- Working in a clean, tidy and safe manner.
35 hours a week over 5 days with some flexibility in start time (Currently 5am). We operate a rolling day off, so every 6 weeks you will get a long weekend.
Benefits:
- Pay: Starting from £13.13 per hour depending on experience, plus pension contributions, free food whilst in work and staff discount.
- The ideal candidate will also hold a driving licence and be aged over 21 years (for insurance purposes) to be able to cover for delivery drivers as required.
