LOCATION: Peterborough or Milton Keynes (with travel to all PJ Care sites required)
TERMS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (part time applicants will also be considered)

The right candidate will reflect the PJ Care values of Care, Compassion and Commitment. The aim of this position is to meet PJ Care values and assist the wider PJ Care team in meeting these values. To ensure all employees develop appropriate knowledge, skills, and behaviours, with a specific focus on Safeguarding and Autism awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use expertise to meet the training needs of all employees.
- Specialist Training Delivery: Design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality training sessions specifically for Safeguarding and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
- Apprenticeship Management: Act as the primary lead for apprentices, coordinating with external providers, monitoring progress, and ensuring "Off-the-Job" hours are met.
- Induction & Compliance: Deliver mandatory induction sessions to ensure legal compliance in safeguarding and care standards.
- Competency Assessment: Assess and sign off Care Certificate competencies, ensuring new starters meet national requirements.
- Administrative Oversight: Update Learning Management System, issue certificates, and maintain individual training folders for apprentices and specialist learners.
- Provide mandatory induction training sessions to ensure all employees are compliant by law in the areas of health and safety, safeguarding and any other areas required by law.
- Source suitable training to meet the development needs of employees, ensuring that all training delivered is to a high standard and within agreed cost parameters.
- Manage the process of booking employees onto training, booking rooms, through to course completion.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 or above in Health and Social care qualification
- Level 3 qualification in Training, L&D or equivalent
- Experience delivering Safeguarding training in a healthcare setting.
- Experience managing or coordinating Apprenticeship standards and EPA (End Point Assessment)
