Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Lead the full month-end process and produce timely management accounts and financial reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, providing support where needed.
  • Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments across the business to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Produce weekly cashflow forecasts to support liquidity management.
  • Manage annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and respond to auditor requests.
  • Supervise 2–4 direct reports (depending on experience).

Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or nearing completion.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, ideally with team management exposure.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial systems.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead people and convey complex financial information clearly.
