We’re looking for a Senior Head of Content & Creative to define our creative vision and lead how our brand is expressed across campaigns, content, social and PR. This is a pivotal leadership role in our Marketing Team, a chance to build fame, fuel commercial impact and make PizzaExpress unmistakable in every channel.
What You’ll Do- Own the creative and content vision across campaigns, social, PR and brand touchpoints, translating strategy into standout work that drives impact.
- Lead brand expression end-to-end, defining how PizzaExpress and Milano look, feel and sound across every channel.
- Inspire and develop an in‑house team, setting standards, pace and collaborative ways of working across teams, agencies and partners.
- Set the social and content strategy, delivering premium, digital‑first storytelling across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms.
- Own the PR and earned media agenda, building brand fame, talkability and reputation across the UK & Ireland.
- Act as a senior guardian of brand reputation, ensuring consistency and confidence in everything we put into the world.
- Work closely with Brand, Performance, CRM, Digital and CX, ensuring creative supports commercial priorities and customer moments.
- Lead end‑to‑end creative development of major campaigns, from idea to execution, ensuring they are bold, relevant and effective.
- Manage and challenge agencies, making sure briefs are clear, output is exceptional, and ambition is met.
- Establish creative KPIs and frameworks, reviewing performance and continually elevating quality and return.
- Champion innovation, exploring new formats, platforms and production approaches while keeping the brand unmistakably us.
- Be a senior creative voice across the business, sharing what’s working, what’s next and how creative is driving value.
- Proven senior leadership experience across creative, content, brand, social and communications; in‑house or agency.
- A strong creative point of view, with the judgement to set direction and raise the bar across channels and formats.
- Deep understanding of content ecosystems - how social, PR, earned media and digital storytelling drive both brand love and commercial results.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and agencies, building cultures where creativity thrives.
- Confidence operating at scale across markets, channels and formats, balancing consistency with local relevance.
- Strong stakeholder influence and a collaborative, positive leadership style.
- Commercial awareness, understanding effectiveness, budgets and the role of creative in delivering business outcomes.
