We’re on the lookout for a commercially savvy go-getter to lead the charge in bringing delicious, packaged food to hungry on-the-go customers. You’ll own our product range — from forecasting and stock control to landing exciting new partnerships and sealing the deal on pricing. Got a knack for numbers and a flair for food? Perfect. We need someone who can blend data-driven insights with creative product thinking to shape winning ranges and strategies.
You’ll be working cross-functionally, influencing key decisions, negotiating with major foodservice players, and making sure our products don’t just taste great — they perform great too.
A few more details on the role:
- Account management of product range – owning the P&L, including forecasting, stock & order management (working with customers, route to market and partner manufacturer(s) and invoicing)
- Business development – identification of new / desired customers and / or partnership opportunities through to completion – landing deals to grow PizzaExpress presence
- Work on the optimisation of the range strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to review product, identify improvement opportunities, and develop new offerings as well as cost-saving initiatives
- Managing commercial agreements, contracts and the portfolio, providing bespoke product development where appropriate
We’re after someone who:
- Is commercially sharp and numerical
- Has a proven track record in B2B sales, buying, account management, or commercial partnerships in food (B2B2C experience is ideal)
- Knows their way around the foodservice scene
- Can pitch ideas, leveraging data and insights to convey clear messages
- Has a successful track record and experience of selling to and managing a range and breadth of Foodservice clients and customers
- Is excellent at relationship building and stakeholder management
