Ready to turn insight into impact? Are you passionate about transforming data into decisions that drive real business performance? We’re looking for a commercially-minded analyst to be the heartbeat of operational finance — helping us unlock margin, optimise labour, and drive smarter ways of working across our restaurant estate. This is a high-impact role at the centre of our Productivity & Change team, where you’ll be the go-to person for operational and financial insight. From daily dashboards to strategic reporting packs, you’ll deliver analysis that fuels action — across labour, wastage, energy, and every variable cost that shapes our bottom line. With direct access to senior leadership, operations, and finance, you’ll help shape the future of how we work — turning numbers into narratives and insight into innovation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and deliver analysis across labour, wastage, energy, and expenses to drive cost control and margin improvement.
- Lead deep‑dive analysis on labour spend and productivity, identifying efficiency opportunities and savings.
- Deliver P&L insight and variance analysis to highlight risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
- Collaborate across Finance, Ops, and IT to build reporting frameworks and insight decks that inform strategy.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational models and initiatives.
- Lead reporting for optimisation initiatives, tracking benefits and supporting business cases.
- Represent Ops Insight in key steering groups including Scorecard, Bonus, and Business Information.
- Own customer and people insight analysis, linking behaviour to operational performance.
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, Operations, and senior leadership on cost priorities.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in financial and operational analysis.
- Strong financial acumen with hands‑on experience in P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
- High attention to detail and analytical accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Adaptability in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment.
