Role Overview
We are seeking an iOS Software Developer with cross-platform experience to join our team. You will work within a talented group of developers crafting immersive applications for iOS across mediums including VR, AR, real-time animation, and other emerging technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity in innovation and involves contributing to a ground-breaking project on a fixed-term 8-month contract.
As our iOS Software Developer, you\'ll design and develop robust, intuitive applications for iOS devices that interact with real-time engines, control systems, and AR experiences. You will collaborate with engineers, artists, and XR specialists to create tools supporting real-world production workflows and pushing immersive tech boundaries.
Requirements
- Develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional, elegant mobile interfaces.
- Integrate ARKit and other iOS frameworks for immersive features.
- Interface with real-time engines (Unreal Engine preferred) and control systems.
- Build prototypes to test concepts.
- Optimize app performance, ensure reliability, and handle edge cases for on-set use.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and development processes.
- Document technical specs, workflows, and build processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDKs.
- Experience with ARKit or similar AR/VR tools.
- Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and UI/UX design.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred/Bonus Experience
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blueprints, or real-time rendering workflows.
- Experience with virtual production tools and camera tracking systems.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Bluetooth, or OSC.
- Familiarity with DCC software like Maya, Blender.
- Experience in media, film, VFX, or XR industries.
- Experience with Objective C, C++.
- Familiarity with Metal and shading languages (MSL, GLSL).
- Experience with Reality Composer and Reality Converter.
- Experience with AVFoundation and Core Graphics.
