Job Description:
Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run and manage the venue contract on behalf of Pixl Evolution Ltd.
- Manage the venue technical team and assign day-to-day tasks.
- Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients and the venues sales team, conduct client visits as necessary and appropriate.
- Discussing event requirements directly with clients including keeping detailed client briefs.
- Working with the Pixl team to provide technical support for the Venue sales team and attend weekly sales meeting.
- Producing accurate quotations and proposal documentation, including drawings and technical information for clients.
- Work with the Pixl project and operations team to convert the brief into an accurate technical specification.
- Overseeing all aspects of the project from the pre-production process to completion.
- Liaise internally cross departmentally to arrange freelance crew, sub-hire equipment and transportation.
- Overseeing and managing all administration documentation relating to a project including H&S documents.
- Cost control of project budgets and producing documentation for the Accounts Department for invoicing.
- Collaborate with the Pixl & venue sales team to develop business opportunities and provide weekly/monthly sales activity reports.
- Project support out of hours when required.
- To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the CEO.
Purpose of the Role:
The team at Pixl have a commitment to provide a profitable delivery of live and studio events combined with outstanding standards of quality within our own resources. As part of the Pixl venue team you will take responsibility for the realization of clients’ brief, directly or as part of a wider team. This also includes working with the venues sales team to develop new business from existing clients and actively seeking new opportunities.
Experience & Behaviours:
- Minimum of five years’ experience of working in the live events industry.
- Basic technical knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and event production professionals in both formal and informal situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attitude: A positive attitude gets the work done and motivates others to do the same without dwelling on the challenges that inevitably come up in the role. A positive attitude is something that is most valued by colleagues and clients.
