A fantastic opportunity has become available at Pixieland Nurseries. We are looking for an Apprentice Early Years Educator Level 3 at our Saltash Nursery, to fit well within the friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children\’s play, learning & development. This role will be supported by your team as well as an early years course to ensure you reach your qualification confidently and professionally. We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows our children to thrive within our nursery family environment.

Requirements for Apprentice

• Be 16 or over and not already in full-time education
• Complete a Level 3 early years educator apprenticeship standard
• Have regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer (remote or on-site)
• Learn and train for a specific job, get paid and receive holiday leave
• Get hands‑on experience in a real job; study for at least 20% of working hours
• Complete assessments during and at the end of apprenticeship
• Be on a career path with future potential
• Be entitled to TOTUM membership

Qualifications and Competencies

• Follow instructions from the room leader
• Hold a Level 2 Child Care qualification (functional skills can be completed alongside the apprenticeship)
