Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for an experienced Commercial Director - EMEA to lead our regional sales and account management strategy.
Role Overview
The Commercial Director - EMEA will be responsible for driving regional revenue growth by managing key retail and distribution partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role requires a strategic leader who can own the P&L, develop robust sell-in & sell-out strategies, and lead a high-performing account management team. This position will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure Pixi’s continued commercial success and market expansion. Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Sales Leadership
- Own and manage the P&L for all EMEA retail and distribution partners, optimizing profitability and driving revenue growth.
- Develop and implement the sell-in and sell-out strategy, ensuring all partners are aligned with Pixi’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish annual and quarterly sales targets per account, ensuring achievement of regional revenue goals.
- Lead business development efforts, identifying new distribution opportunities and expanding into high-growth markets.
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, ensuring favorable contract terms and maximizing margin contribution.
- Build tailored business plans for each retail and distribution partner, ensuring long-term sales growth and brand positioning.
- Oversee 12-month rolling demand forecasts per retailer, working closely with the global supply chain team to ensure inventory optimization.
- Develop sell-through acceleration programs, including in-store activations, staff training, and co-branded marketing initiatives.
- Partner with customer experience & training teams to plan impactful retailer events and staff education across EMEA.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing EMEA account management team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Ensure seamless execution of sales orders, working closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams.
- Manage trade spend budgets, ensuring effective allocation of promotional funding and customer investment.
- Proactively resolve any accounts receivable and invoicing issues, ensuring smooth financial operations across all EMEA partners.
- Act as the key liaison between the EMEA sales team and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop regionally relevant go-to-market strategies, leveraging digital, in-store, and influencer-driven campaigns.
- Drive data-driven decision-making, preparing monthly sales reports and business insights to inform leadership discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership, or retail account management, ideally within the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record in P&L ownership, sales forecasting, and driving double-digit revenue growth in a multi-market environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous commercial terms with retail partners.
- Experience managing large-scale retail accounts (e.g., Sephora, Boots, Douglas, Lookfantastic) and multi-market distributors.
- Data-driven mindset—ability to interpret sales data, consumer trends, and market insights to shape commercial strategies.
- Leadership experience, managing high-performance sales or account management teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with marketing, operations, and finance teams to drive business success.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
