The Senior Social Media Coordinator is a high-accountability execution role within the Creative Digital Marketing team, responsible for translating creative direction into scalable, consistent, and high-performing social execution and operational rigor across all platforms with enthusiasm and discipline.
This is a content-driven, systems-aware role requiring deep fluency in social media and the beauty landscape, excellent execution skills under clear creative leadership, and the ability to operate with urgency. A refined visual eye, strong photography/videography skill and the ability to plan and deliver content at scale, and a full understanding of AI-driven content creation for ideation, efficiency, and optimisation are essential. This role will facilitate and present for final decisions and approvals by the Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards- Create and propose high-quality social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and emerging platforms, aligned with Pixi’s brand voice, visual standards, and creative direction.
- Post-production & content finishing: Strong hands-on ability to retouch, edit, and refine social content to a publish-ready standard, including light photo retouching, video editing, colour correction, and formatting using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and native platform editing tools.
- Content calendar management and execution, ensuring timely, consistent, and strategic scheduling and posting across all channels in line with established standards.
- Prepare and submit shot lists, creative briefs, and content proposals for approval ahead of campaigns, launches, and shoots.
- Translate creative direction into executable content with precision, ensuring consistency with Pixi and POP brand ethos, tone, and visual identity.
- Manage and optimise platform presence, proactively adapting execution in response to algorithm changes, new features, and emerging formats.
- Own final content readiness prior to publish, including fact checking accuracy, formatting, timely approvals, and risk awareness.
- Troubleshoot execution issues in real time and proactively escalate with clear solutions when systems, platforms, or timelines shift.
- Foster and nurture the Pixi community through thoughtful, timely engagement across comments, messages, and feedback.
- Own planning accuracy and workflow execution across internal systems, including Planner, FS, SMWF, Brandwatch, and PDL.
- Apply performance learnings to continuously refine content formats, cadence, and execution over time.
- Use AI tools confidently and responsibly to support ideation, caption development, trend analysis, reporting synthesis, and workflow optimisation.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of workflows, best practices, and learnings to support continuity and onboarding.
- Track, analyse, and report performance on a weekly and monthly basis, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Execute with awareness of global markets, time zones, and regional handoffs to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively, surfacing risks, progress, and recommendations without requiring leadership follow-up.
- Partner closely with Creative, Growth Marketing, Ecommerce, and leadership teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements to strengthen continuity, scalability, and operational resilience.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualified applicants ideally have a clear understanding of and interest in the beauty industry as well as a minimum of 4 years of social media experience within a professional environment.
