  • About Pixi

Pixi is a global beauty brand known for innovative skincare and colour cosmetics that enhance natural beauty.

Founded in London, Pixi now operates across international retail, ecommerce and marketplace channels.

We are building practical AI capabilities across the business to improve how our teams work, make decisions and serve customers.

The Role

The AI Analyst will turn business problems into practical, reliable solutions.

This is not a role focused only on building bots.

You will work directly with teams across Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Marketplace to understand how work is completed, improve the underlying data and develop AI-enabled workflows that deliver measurable value.

The role combines four capabilities

  • Functional business understanding
  • Problem solving and team enablement
  • Data management and reporting
  • Practical AI and automation development

You will be expected to move comfortably between understanding a business problem, working directly with its users, preparing messy data and building or improving the technical solution.

  • What You'll Own
  • 1. Business Analysis and Solution Design
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Marketplace teams to understand their processes, systems and business requirements
  • Translate unclear or complex problems into structured requirements, proposed solutions and measurable outcomes
  • Map current workflows, identify root causes and distinguish between a quick fix, a repeatable workflow and a larger roadmap opportunity
  • Define the business rules, exceptions, approvals and controls required before development begins
  • Prioritise work based on business value, effort, risk and scalability
  • 2. Problem Solving and Business Enablement
  • Work directly with teams to solve practical problems involving Excel, data, reporting, AI tools and repetitive workflows
  • Help establish regular AI office hours where employees can bring problems for assessment and support
  • Train employees to use new AI tools and workflows confidently
  • Identify recurring themes from individual requests and recommend opportunities for wider automation
  • Create clear SOPs, user guides, walkthroughs and handover materials
  • Report emerging opportunities, recurring issues and adoption barriers to the AI Transformation team
  • 3. Data Management and Reporting
  • Clean, reconcile and structure data from multiple business systems and spreadsheets
  • Create repeatable processes for data preparation, validation, transformation and reporting
  • Document business definitions, field mappings, calculations and data lineage
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear, trusted information
  • Introduce data-quality checks that identify missing, duplicated or inconsistent information
  • Support the development of shared datasets and the longer-term foundation for Pixi's data environment
  • Ensure workflows have appropriate audit trails, version control and ownership
  • 4. AI and Automation Development
  • Design, build and deploy AI-enabled workflows using LLMs, developer CLI tools, APIs, MCP and automation platforms
  • Connect systems including ERP, ecommerce, CRM, customer service and reporting platforms
  • Decide where to use AI, deterministic rules or human review based on the accuracy and risk required
  • Build headless and scheduled workflows where appropriate
  • Develop testing plans covering accuracy, exceptions, regressions and failure handling
  • Monitor live workflows and improve them based on performance and user feedback
  • Apply appropriate privacy, security and access controls
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Business problems are translated into clear, practical solutions
  • Delivered workflows are adopted by their intended users and produce measurable improvements in time, accuracy, cost or decision-making
  • Data and reporting processes become cleaner, more reliable and easier to repeat
  • Solutions include documented logic, controls, ownership and handover materials
  • Small employee requests generate both immediate value and insight into larger opportunities
  • AI is applied where it adds value rather than added unnecessarily
  • Business teams become more capable and confident in using AI effectively

Who You Are

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, automation, technical operations or AI workflow development
  • You understand how business functions operate and can learn unfamiliar processes quickly
  • You have strong Excel skills and practical experience cleaning and reconciling messy datasets
  • You can use SQL and ideally Python or another scripting language to analyse or transform data
  • You have worked with APIs, JSON, developer tools and automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Ui Path or similar

  • You are comfortable training colleagues and working directly with teams to solve day-to-day problems
  • You document your work carefully and pay close attention to detail
  • You take ownership from initial problem definition through testing, launch and adoption
  • You know when to ask questions, challenge an assumption or recommend a simpler solution
  • Helpful Experience
  • Experience with Net Suite, Shopify, Kustomer or other ERP, ecommerce, CRM or customer service systems
  • Experience in retail, beauty, consumer goods, ecommerce or marketplace businesses
