Think Recruitment has partnered with a well-known contractor specializing in providing safe and supportive accommodation for vulnerable adults. They also deliver disability adaptations in private homes across Birmingham.
We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager based locally to Birmingham to help with overseeing the execution of contracts, managing site operations, and ensuring the seamless progress of projects. This position requires a combination of strong organisational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties will include:
- Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and vendors to establish mutually beneficial terms.
- Draft contracts and agreements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness of terms.
- Review contract terms and conditions to identify potential areas of risk.
- Coordinate contract execution and implementation, including obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
- Maintain organised contract files and documentation for easy reference and retrieval.
- Track contract KPI’s to ensure timely fulfilment of obligations.
- Facilitate contract amendments and modifications as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or requirements.
Experience/Skills required:
- Knowledge of environmental and property legislation, focusing on housing is essential.
- Ability to write technical specifications, reports, and instructions for staff and contractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and develop staff, building teams to deliver to the vision and values.
- Understanding of relevant statutory regulations relating to housing providers.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
