About The Role
Due to increased demand for localized content in the EMEA region, Pixelogic seeks experienced Czech-to-English subtitling translators and QCers to join our language services department. The incumbent will manage end‑to‑end subtitle projects, ensuring high‑quality output within tight schedules.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit subtitle files using Pixelogic’s cloud‑based subtitling software (conforming, translating, or proofreading/QC).
- Apply in‑house glossaries and follow client style guides for consistency.
- Handle rejections, make corrections, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive content.
- Stay current with industry trends and adapt to evolving client requirements.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Czech and English.
- Minimum two years of translation or proofreading experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to meet rigorous schedules and flexible working hours.
- Ability to follow technical and style guides for multiple client content types.
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
