About the job:
To support our growing Digital Cinema team, the Motion Graphics & VFX Designer will support our graphics teams with graphical localization of major feature films, trailer campaigns, social and traditional media for Hollywood studios, independents and global content providers.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D motion graphics and VFX combined with a good understanding of the technical aspects of creative processes to deliver to the highest quality standards.
Working Hours : 37.5 hours / week on a 7-day fortnight shift
Responsibilities:
- Create 2D and 3D localised motion graphics and visual effects to high level of finish for feature and trailer projects
- Deal with tight deadlines to deliver accurate assets on time
- Abide by company security policies and protect information assets entrusted to you
- Other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Maxon Cinema 4D and associated technologies
- Nuke working knowledge a plus
- Good 2D and 3D tracking, match moving, compositing and VFX skills
- Good understanding of video resolution, formats and technical specs
- Strong typographic skills essential
- Basic understanding of principles of colour science
- Good communication skills
- Team player and able to manage workflow across different simultaneous projects
- Problem solver with creative and innovative approach, with ability to think outside the box
- Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks
- Creative and proactive attitude
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in motion graphics and post-production studio environments
- Previous experience creating localised graphics an advantage
- University or college degree
