About the role
Due to increased demand for localized content in the APAC region, Pixelogic is seeking experienced Thai into English subtitling translators and QC specialists to establish a high-performing collaboration within our language services team. The goal is to efficiently handle end-to-end projects for our clients.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, especially given the sensitive delivery schedules and changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of subtitle file creation, including conforming, translating, and proofreading/QC, using Pixelogic\'s proprietary cloud-based software.
- Use in-house glossaries and follow client style guides to ensure consistency and quality.
- Handle rejections and make necessary corrections to files.
- Stay updated with industry trends and adapt to evolving client needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive content.
Requirements
- Fluent in Thai and English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- At least 2 years of translation and/or proofreading experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work flexibly.
- Ability to follow technical and style guides for various content types.
