About the role

As a Graphics Engineer, you will work across various areas of the rendering pipeline for a AAA game project, leveraging the latest advancements in real-time rendering. Your expertise will be crucial in adapting the game to a new platform, where you’ll address complex rendering and optimisation challenges to achieve peak performance and visual quality.

Responsibilities

  • Port and optimise rendering techniques.
  • Design and implement graphics techniques that are optimised for the target hardware.
  • Profile and analyse CPU/GPU performance and memory usage to identify bottlenecks.
  • Debug and resolve engine and graphics related issues.

Skills we are looking for

  • Strong foundation in computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of C++.
  • Strong problem-solving and bug fixing skills.
  • Experience with at least one modern graphics API (Direct3D 12, Vulkan or Metal).
  • Experience with shading languages (HLSL, GLSL or MSL).
  • Good knowledge of modern real time rendering techniques including raytracing.
  • Good knowledge of GPU architecture.
  • Experience with multithreading.
  • Strong experience with profiling and low-level optimisation.
  • Good foundation in Mathematics, with a focus on linear algebra.
  • The ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt to a large code base.
