Experienced Unity Programmer in Royal Leamington Spa

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent over a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile and VR gaming. Take ownership of developing key systems within the game’s codebase, ensuring our projects are as entertaining as they are technically robust. Your influence will extend beyond the code as you collaborate actively with discipline leads to set high technical standards and define performance budgets that keep our games running beautifully on a wide range of devices.

By balancing technical excellence with a player-first mindset, you will help us transform the Unity Engine into a powerhouse for creating wonderful, world-class mobile experiences.

With significant experience in a similar role, you will bring a broad and deep understanding of the diverse systems required to power high-end mobile games. Acting as a pivotal member of the team, you will take a hands-on approach in shaping our systems design, selecting the third-party services we integrate, and architecting the core components that support our titles. Your background with at least one fully shipped game where you were involved through every phase of development will give you a holistic view of what it takes to move from initial concept to a polished global launch.

Your professional experience of Unity and C# is matched by a solid understanding of modern coding processes, standards, and methodologies. Excelling at prototyping and rapid iteration, you possess the agility to test new features quickly without sacrificing long-term stability. Beyond your technical prowess, you are a creative problem solver and an excellent communicator who brings high levels of enthusiasm to every challenge. You are a self-motivated, proactive team player with a personal drive to deliver code of the highest standard while supporting those around you to do the same.
