The Opportunity
We are supporting a well-established operation in St Neots experiencing increased demand and looking to strengthen its team with additional Class 2 Drivers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values reliability, safety and long-term career development. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily deliveries safely and efficiently
- Provide a high standard of customer service on-site
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure full compliance
- Work closely with operations to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday (minimal weekend work)
- 10-hour shifts
- £14.90 per hour (first 9 hours)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Typical week: 45 hours standard + 5 hours overtime
- Occasional weekend shifts available
Training & Induction
- Two-stage interview process: Safety, customer service and competency-based questions
- Practical driving assessment
- Three-day shadowing programme with experienced drivers
- Structured onboarding to support a safe and effective transition into the role
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
