Pivotal is an e-commerce-focused digital transformation agency based in Norwich. We are looking for a passionate and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Company
In this Digital Marketing Specialist role, you\\\’ll join a global digital marketing and development agency, working with a range of high-end UK and US clients across a number of sectors and industries. You will oversee the implementation of end-to-end optimisation strategies, improving and optimising platforms for your clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and exert influence within a globally renowned optimisation function.
The Role
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you\\\’ll act as the main optimisation lead for a diverse range of well-known clients. You will help improve site performance, focusing on both strategy and design. You\\\’ll be responsible for managing a team of developers and gathering insights to inform marketing solutions and strategy. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, customer service, enterprise-level presentations, and account management experience are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, development, and execution of optimisation strategies for client websites, with a focus on improving user experience, conversion rates, and overall performance.
- UX design, with the ability to work with multiple clients brand identities, considering usability and function, with a focus on conversions
- Conduct a thorough analysis of website and asset data, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to clients.
- Managing client communications, including results presentations and keeping them informed of their optimisation progress
- Manage a team of test developers to ensure tests are turned around promptly and highly quality.
- Collaborate with other Pivotal team members, including project managers, designers, and developers, to ensure that optimisation efforts align with client needs and business objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital optimisation, sharing your knowledge with the team and implementing new strategies and tactics as needed.
- Ensure that client-facing departmental reports are of the highest calibre.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Design experience with a keen eye for detail and experience using design tools such as Figma or Photoshop
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- An understanding of ecommerce – experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify and Magento 2
- A desire to devise end-to-end optimisation strategies
- An analytical brain with the ability to think critically
- Strong proficiency using Google Analytics
- Passionate about improving user experience and user journeys
- Strong presentation skills, including building and presenting reports to key stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Agency-side or client-facing experience
- Experience with UX design
- Experience planning, conducting and analysing A/B and MV tests
- Experience with Convert (or similar AB testing tools) in a commercial environment
- An interest in emerging technologies like AI and machine learning
