An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a successful manufacturing business in South Devon. You will be responsible for driving production performance, leading teams, improving operational efficiency and ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Develop and execute production plans.
- Monitor production performance and capacity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead CAPEX projects.
- Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality teams.
- Lead, coach and develop production teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Analyse production data to support operational improvements.
Essential Requirements
- Production Management experience within Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Strong Production Planning and Capacity Planning experience.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
- Change Management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Leadership qualification such as CMI, ILM or equivalent.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
