A growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the Southwest is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer / IT Field Engineer to deliver a blend of remote technical support and onsite field engineering for both domestic and small business clients. With an enviable customer reputation, the company is expanding its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer currently working within an MSP who wants to take the next step, whether that's deeper technical ownership, leadership progression, or having more influence in how services are delivered.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver remote IT support and resolve service desk tickets
  • Attend customer sites for installations, upgrades, troubleshooting and fault-finding
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Azure AD, Intune, security and licensing
  • Provide proactive MSP support: patching, monitoring, maintenance
  • Install and support Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment
  • Support both Windows and macOS environments
  • Diagnose issues across routers, switches, WiFi and general networking
  • Work in line with Cyber Essentials Plus and IT security best practice
  • Follow and improve MSP processes, documentation and service workflows
About You

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Field Engineer, MSP Engineer or similar
  • Background working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and SLAs
  • Strong knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Windows, macOS and networking
  • Experience installing and supporting Ubiquiti UniFi
  • A security first mindset
  • Confident customer-facing skills on-site and over the phone
  • Ambition to grow and have leadership experience or the desire to progress into management
  • A full UK driving licence (field-based role)
