Backed by top-tier investors and founded by a deeply technical team (ex-Scale AI, Cursor, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Waymo), the company is already valued at $12B. With technical deployment and customer impact at the core of the GTM strategy, this Forward Deployed Engineer role is critical to how the product gets adopted, expanded, and defined in the real world.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own the technical success and real-world application of the platform across a number of our largest customers. This is a highly strategic, customer-facing engineering role focused on building, deploying, and iterating on solutions... not support. You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders (engineering, product, and leadership) to turn ambiguous problems into production-grade systems that influence real decisions.
Why this role:
- Opportunity to join and work with leading engineers from Anthropic, OpenAI, Palantir and Scale AI.
- Highly technical role with direct exposure to real-world outcomes.
- Work sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and strategy.
- Genuinely new problem space — no established playbooks.
- High ownership and autonomy from day one.
If you’re a Software engineer/Full Stack Engineer who wants to move closer to the problem, the customer, and the decision making itself, this is worth a conversation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers.
- Scope and break down ambiguous, high-impact problems into solvable components.
- Design and build production-grade systems (APIs, data pipelines, integrations).
- Deploy solutions into real-world workflows that directly influence decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior engineers, architects, and executives.
- Translate customer use cases into actionable product and engineering insights.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap and capabilities.
- Help define and scale how this technology is applied across industries.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE A STEM degree.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python, TypeScript, or similar).
- Experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or distributed systems.
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and modern infrastructure.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with minimal structure.
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
