With an established leadership team, strong commercial performance and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to appoint a Marketing Director on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

The Opportunity

  • Lead an established marketing function of 17 people across Brand, Content and Digital
  • Take ownership of marketing strategy execution within a highly respected luxury consumer brand
  • Operate in a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director

  • Lead a sophisticated marketing function spanning content, CRM, website, digital marketing, performance marketing and customer experience
  • Play a key role in aligning marketing activity with sales, operations and commercial objectives
  • Oversee a flagship editorial publication alongside wider content and brand initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction and support to a marketing team of approximately 17 people
  • Manage and develop two senior direct reports across Brand & Content and Digital Marketing
  • Ensure marketing activity remains aligned to commercial objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Oversee brand strategy execution and maintain consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Act as senior editorial lead across content, social, email, website and flagship publication activity
  • Own website strategy, development priorities and digital marketing oversight
  • Provide strategic direction across CRM, content, SEO, social media and customer journey initiatives
  • Oversee performance marketing strategy and budget allocation in partnership with the wider Group Digital team
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations leadership to ensure marketing activity supports business priorities and lead quality objectives
  • Manage agency relationships across PR, design, development and specialist marketing services
  • Lead key cross-functional projects involving marketing, sales, technology and customer experience teams
  • Support annual planning, budget management and commercial forecasting processes
  • Provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Proven experience operating at Marketing Director, Head of Marketing or equivalent senior leadership level
  • Background within luxury, premium consumer, hospitality, travel or similarly service-led environments
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing established marketing teams
  • Comfortable stepping into an existing function, building trust quickly and maintaining momentum
  • Broad marketing expertise across brand, content, digital and customer acquisition channels
  • Commercially minded with the ability to connect marketing activity to revenue, customer quality and business growth
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally with sales, commercial and operational teams
  • Experience operating within matrix or group structures would be advantageous
  • Comfortable balancing immediate commercial priorities with longer-term strategic initiatives
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and confident operating within high-growth environments
  • Previous interim, maternity cover or fractional leadership experience would be beneficial but is not essential
