A unique Head of Planning opportunity has arisen at one of the UK’s most exciting, forward-thinking independent media agencies. This is a senior leadership position which offers the chance to build and lead a best-in-class planning function, whilst defining the communications planning vision for an incredible agency… a genuine chance to have a true impact on an agency and their planning output. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership & vision across the agency
  • Hire and lead a high performing Planning team and ensure that the planning function remains at the very forefront of data, technology and innovation
  • Define and lead the comms planning approach whilst embedding best practice across all stages of the planning process
  • Be a true champion of insight-led planning both internally and externally
  • Act as senior strategic lead across key client relationships and manage end-to-end planning
  • Play a key role in new business whilst also identifying and driving growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support the development of planning tools, products and methodologies

Your profile:

  • 10-15+ years’ experience in a cross-channel media planning or strategy capacity at a media agency
  • A proven track record of leading senior client relationships and delivering innovative work for clients
  • Experience building, leading, or evolving planning teams
  • Experience of leveraging data and insights to inform best-in-class planning
  • Comfortable operating at senior leadership level with strong stakeholder influence
