Our client is one of the UK's most successful D2C scale-ups and a household name in the FMCG space. As a certified B Corp on a mission to reach carbon neutrality, they are transitioning into a "unicorn" powerhouse that blends a deep commitment to purpose with sophisticated, high-velocity growth.
The Opportunity
- Strategic Blueprint: Lead the UK & Ireland, the brand's primary revenue engine and "legacy" powerhouse, which serves as the strategic blueprint for their aggressive international expansion.
- Rapid Progression: This is a high-visibility role with a clear, structured pathway to step into a Director position within the next 12–18 months.
- Unlocking the "Unicorn": Advanced scaling by solving complex attribution puzzles across TV, OOH, Meta, and TikTok and explore emerging channels such as TikTok Shop and Reddit.
- Technical Autonomy: Bridge the gap between "the math" and "the art," leading a high-output team where you have the autonomy to transform "new frontier" channels into core revenue pillars.
Responsibilities
- Growth Architecture: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 12 specialists, covering Performance, Organic/Viral, and Creative Strategy. You will oversee digital, referral, TV and partnership growth engines whilst working cross-functionally with teams in Data Science, Brand, Creative, CRM, Retail, and Product Engineering.
- Attribution and Testing: Spearhead the transition to a more sophisticated understanding of how offline and online channels intersect to drive customer value. Move beyond simple models to lead the charge on A/B testing and incrementality, understanding how TV, OOH, and Digital play together.
- Creative Testing: Implement a high-velocity creative testing framework, ensuring data-driven insights fuel every asset produced.
- LTV & Retention: Deep-dive into data to map the correlation between acquisition channels and long-term customer loops to maximise unit economics.
Your Profile
- Technical Authority: Previous expert level hands-on experience in Google and Meta is a non-negotiable must-have; you are the highest-level specialist in these core channels. You will also bring knowledge across digital marketing, CRM, affiliate/influencer marketing, conversion rate optimisation and you will know how to optimise to get these channels to sing together.
- D2C Leadership: Proven track record in a high-scale Direct-to-Consumer environment (ideally within the £10m–£100m+ revenue bracket).
- Technical Depth: A true "player-coach" who remains technically literate and comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting under the hood of a Meta campaign or backend data.
- Strategic Visionary: Capable of zooming out to build 12-month roadmaps and managing senior stakeholders while maintaining an agile, startup mindset.
- People Developer: A natural leader who thrives on building diverse teams and fostering a culture of development, ownership and action.
Benefits:
- Comprehensive Wellbeing: Private medical and dental insurance, plus dedicated paid leave for wellbeing and personal growth.
- Family-First Culture: Leading-edge parental leave (up to 26 weeks fully paid) and specialist support for fertility and pregnancy loss.
- Loyalty Rewards: 25 days holiday (increasing with service), paid sabbaticals after five years, and flexible days for development.
- Growth & Lifestyle: Dedicated £500 annual L&D budget, cycle-to-work schemes, discounted gym access, and a vibrant, modern office environment.
