Our client is one of the world’s largest international health and beauty retailers, operating across 30+ global markets with a portfolio of iconic consumer brands spanning ecommerce, retail and mobile commerce. With significant investment into digital transformation and customer experience, they are now looking to hire a Digital Tracking & Analytics Specialist into their growing digital analytics function.

The Opportunity

  • Own and optimise Google Tag Manager implementation across a large-scale international ecommerce and app ecosystem
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital tracking, analytics infrastructure and customer journey visibility across multiple European markets
  • Operate within a highly collaborative environment working alongside product, development, UX, CRO and analytics teams
  • Drive scalable, privacy-compliant tracking solutions across web and mobile platforms
  • Work across both web analytics and mobile app analytics utilising GA4, Firebase and BigQuery
  • Support cross-device and cross-channel tracking initiatives to improve customer journey understanding and commercial insight
  • Take ownership of data layer governance, tagging standards and tracking documentation across multiple markets
  • Join a business heavily investing in digital, data and customer experience capabilities
  • Operate in a visible, high-impact role with genuine ownership and autonomy

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Google Tag Manager implementation and optimisation across web and app environments
  • Build, maintain and troubleshoot tracking solutions, tags, triggers and data layer implementations
  • Support server-side tagging initiatives and evolving analytics infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with development, product, UX and CRO teams to deliver scalable tracking solutions aligned to business objectives
  • Lead audits, QA testing and debugging to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Drive mobile app analytics initiatives using Firebase and GA4
  • Support cross-platform customer journey tracking and attribution initiatives
  • Develop and maintain tracking documentation, governance processes and implementation standards
  • Build custom integrations and APIs to support advanced analytics capabilities
  • Provide guidance and enablement across the wider business around analytics best practice and tracking governance

Your Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing Google Tag Manager and GA4 tracking solutions
  • Experience working with Firebase, BigQuery and mobile app analytics environments
  • Understanding of server-side tagging and modern analytics implementation practices
  • Likely background within ecommerce, retail, digital product, consultancy or large-scale consumer environments
  • Strong understanding of data layers, event tracking and analytics architecture
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of GDPR, cookie consent and privacy-compliant tracking frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and QA skills
  • Commercially aware with a genuine interest in how analytics drives customer experience and business performance
  • Curious, proactive and excited by emerging analytics technologies and evolving measurement practices
