The Opportunity
An award-winning global media agency is looking for a Media Planning Manager to join a specialist integrated planning team, working across one of the agency's largest and most high-profile international accounts. This is a planning-led role with a strong emphasis on offline media (approximately 80%) alongside integrated cross-channel planning (20%), covering TV, linear, retail media and broader brand campaigns. While an understanding of digital activation is advantageous, the role is focused on strategic planning rather than hands-on activation.
Working within a collaborative planning team, you’ll partner closely with activation and specialist teams while leading campaigns across multiple European and international markets. This is an excellent opportunity to work with global stakeholders, influence media strategy, and gain exposure to industry-leading planning tools and technology.
The Role
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated media plans across offline and cross-channel campaigns.
- Own campaign planning and day-to-day management from briefing through to delivery, ensuring campaigns are executed accurately and on time.
- Act as a key client contact, managing campaign objectives, communications and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with planning, activation and specialist teams to deliver campaigns across multiple European and international markets.
- Present media strategies, insights and recommendations using planning, reporting and data visualisation platforms.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimise future activity.
- Manage campaign budgets, financial reconciliations and delivery processes.
- Build strong relationships with international stakeholders, ensuring consistency and best practice across regions.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their planning capability and day-to-day account management skills.
About You
- Solid experience in media planning within an agency environment.
- Strong planning experience across offline media, particularly TV and linear, with exposure to integrated cross-channel campaigns.
- Experience managing international or multi-market campaigns and stakeholders.
- Confident presenting to clients and communicating strategic recommendations.
- Comfortable using planning, reporting and data platforms to develop insights and tell compelling stories from campaign data.
- Strong commercial awareness, organisation and project management skills.
- Experience working with global blue-chip clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of digital activation, retail media or campaign activation is beneficial but not essential.
What’s on Offer
- The opportunity to work on one of the agency's flagship global accounts.
- Exposure to complex international campaigns across multiple European markets.
- A collaborative planning environment working alongside specialist activation and strategy teams.
- Access to industry-leading planning tools, data platforms and technology.
- Clear opportunities for career development within a global media agency.
