One of the world’s leading media agencies is searching for a Head of Planning to join their talented team and help to lead and grow their planning function. The Head of Planning position offers a rare opportunity to join a top agency and help define the agency’s vision for planning and drive media planning excellence. This is a senior leadership position and as Head of Planning you will be a key strategic partner to clients and the agency leadership team whilst ensuring that strategies are innovative, integrated, and business-focused. You will lead the planning team, develop capabilities, and embed best-in-class approaches across campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Set the planning vision whilst staying ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms. Lead the development and execution of best-in-class media planning across multiple clients and sectors.
- Team development: Manage, mentor and inspire a team of talented Planners and support them to create the best possible work whilst also ensuring career progression.
- Client relationships: Act as a strategic advisor for key clients, translating business objectives into actionable media plans that deliver measurable results.
- Innovation: Drive the adoption of new planning tools, data insights, and technology. Collaborate across internal teams to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns.
- External Profile: Build relationships with media partners, contribute to industry thought leadership, and raise the agency’s profile through awards and events.
- Commercial & Operational Excellence: Ensure strategies are commercially viable, support new business opportunities, and optimise team resources.
