Seeking Full time RPSGTs needed due to growth - additional pay per shift for attending/scoring productivity! MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT to work in our Wilmington NC sleep lab at Sleep Care of Wilmington. The position will provide sleep services on an as needed basis to facilitate MLSTs as needed. Competitive hourly rates available, depending on experience.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitating tests and collecting data
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analysing results
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
  • Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
  • Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or higher education level
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
  • Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and NC Medical Board License
  • Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
Physical Demands of the Job:
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
