Leeds Pivot are an independent special school operating over four sites in very close proximity. Our curriculum offer is focused on developing the whole learner, working with their interests to engage them in education so they feel successful and take positive steps in their journey to adulthood and beyond. We offer a variety of pathways to meet the needs of learners with autism, complex social interaction needs, emotional challenges and other learning needs.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and resilient Learning and Behaviour Mentors (Teaching Assistants) to support our young people. Candidates should have experience working with young people with complex needs, and be able to engage and inspire.
Our Learning and Behaviour Mentors play a key role in addressing the barriers to learning for our learners and will work 1:1 with learners to enable them to achieve their full potential. Through innovative, creative and professional practice, you will engage our young people and inspire them to learn new skills and develop their self-esteem.
