As the Strategic Growth Sales Manager, you are responsible for retaining existing revenue while driving net-new revenue growth across the designated commercial market segment. This includes expanding relationships with existing Pitney Bowes customers and acquiring new business within the assigned geographic area. You will lead the full solutions-based sales lifecycle—from strategic prospecting and pipeline development through consultative engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and successful deal closure. Through disciplined account planning and targeted market penetration strategies, you will maximize customer lifetime value and deliver sustained commercial growth.
Territory Coverage: North and East London, Essex, Hertfordshire, and the wider Home Counties (including parts of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, and Suffolk).
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Retention: Own customer retention performance by strengthening client relationships to drive renewals, expanding accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities, reducing churn, and maximizing recurring revenue and customer lifetime value.
- Revenue Expansion: Lead initiatives to generate net-new revenue within the commercial segment by executing targeted growth strategies aligned to customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
- Geographical Focus: Concentrate on the assigned geographical territory for customer and prospect engagement.
- Process Management: Develop and execute effective solutions sales processes, ensuring a customer-centric and streamlined approach from the identification of prospects to the successful closure of deals.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with existing Pitney Bowes customers, actively engage with prospects to understand their unique requirements, and propose customised solutions.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, fostering cohesion and an integrated approach to sales and growth.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, providing valuable insights to shape sales strategies and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, along with comprehensive reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to foster collaboration and provide leadership to achieve sales objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance sales processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
This role requires a dynamic and strategic sales approach, combining market insight, strong relationship management, and a results-driven mindset to drive sustainable growth and strengthen Pitney Bowes’ position across the designated regions and market segments.

- Annual salary OTE of £100k plus per annum (Uncapped)

Experience
- Proven Sales Expertise: Consistent record of driving revenue growth through strategic account penetration, targeted new business acquisition, and effective upsell and cross-sell execution.
- Cloud-Based Solutions Experience: Possess hands‑on experience in selling cloud-based solutions, indicating a nuanced understanding of this dynamic and evolving market.
- End-to-End Sales Process Execution: Exhibit the capability to personally drive the entire solutions sales process.
- Sales Quota Achievement: Consistently achieves or exceeds 100% of assigned sales targets, demonstrating a proven record of delivering against and surpassing performance expectations.
- Self-Directed Approach: Display self‑directedness and effective planning skills to document daily sales activities comprehensively.
- Agile Work Environment Adaptability: Proficiently navigate an agile work environment, utilising various communication tools to engage with clients, prospects, and other Pitney Bowes resources.
