Are you a skilled and experienced engineer with a passion for diagnosing and resolving computer issues? Do you thrive on getting to the root of technical problems and bringing devices back to life? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team!
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineer to handle fault finding and repairs on a variety of computer hardware, including both desktop and laptop systems. The ideal candidate must have proven hardware fault finding and parts replacement experience in laptop and desktop computers with the likes of screen, keyboard, battery, motherboard and chassis replacements in all makes and models including Apple products. You must also be able to diagnose and resolve technical faults using current industry standard software.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnosing hardware and software faults in desktop and laptop computers.
- Performing efficient and effective repairs, including component replacement and software troubleshooting.
- Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken and parts used.
- Providing excellent customer service and clear communication regarding repair status.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and repair techniques.
Ideally, you will also have experience with the diagnosis and repair of mobile phones and tablet devices.
What we're looking for:- Proven experience in computer fault finding and repair (desktop and laptop).
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
