They have between 100-120 employees and are aiming to double their turnover within the next 5 years. Currently, they are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team.
Info About What The Senior Manufacturing Engineer Role Entails
You will take full responsibility for the implementation and definition of processes to support strategic and operational goals of the company. You will manage a minimum of one Manufacturing Engineer.
Some Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of a Manufacturing Engineer as a line manager.
- Managing RCCA Activities, with a strong focus on scrap and rework reduction.
- Addressing manufacturing process issues.
- Improving manufacturing processes and equipment through development and implementation of new strategies.
Requirements Of The Senior Manufacturing Engineer
- Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role (Aerospace/Automotive preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and lean manufacturing tools.
- Engineering/manufacturing focused with a commercial awareness.
Desirable Requirements
- Management Experience.
- CAD Experience (Solidworks ideally).
- 6 Sigma (or equivalent) qualified.
