The Head of Sales (UK) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a team of four external sales professionals within the EMEA Logistics and Distribution sector. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, fostering strong relationships with key customers and partners, managing budgets and sales forecasts, and ensuring high-performance sales practices. A deep understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and digital sales tools is essential, along with strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills. The position requires experience in senior sales management within the safety or industrial sectors and involves regular travel for customer engagement.

Essential Requirements Of a Head Of Sales

  • Proven experience in senior sales leadership within the safety or industrial sectors, preferably across multiple geographies.
  • Strong track record of growing businesses in challenging markets, including digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams, drive organizational change, and deliver results.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, negotiation, and customer relationship management, particularly with large corporations or partners.

Desirable Requirements Of a Head Of Sales

  • Fluency in another European language (German, Spanish, French, etc.).
  • Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification.
