We currently have an opportunity for a Water Resources Project Manager to join our team based in Exeter, Bristol or Surrey, on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000‑£50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

The role requires a talented individual who can work effectively across teams and build relationships with all stakeholders to plan, implement and deliver projects focused on water resources.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage water resource projects primarily driven by the AMP8 WINEP programme, identify project goals, assess potential challenges that may increase costs or cause delays, track progress and supervise project resources to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Support the Environmental Monitoring and Programme Manager to deliver the WINEP programme on time, at cost and to quality parameters.
  • Meet with functional management, clients and stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
  • Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revise them based on changing needs and requirements.
  • Help develop the culture and ethos to facilitate efficient delivery, ensuring the programme is delivered in accordance with agreed strategies, objectives and performance targets, including management of risks and issues.
  • Ensure good management of team data and file systems to enable reporting of concise, well‑presented, standardised and auditable records for the department to meet business requirements.
  • Act as the link between project delivery teams across the Pennon Group and external stakeholders, including external partners and regulators.
