Pitch is delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic midlands based integrated agency that’s looking to recruit a super talented PR Account Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. This full service agency works with a huge range of clients, including a variety of household brands and market leading B2B organisations. With a team of over 50 people, they are able to offer services that span PR, creative, digital and media to their growing client base. Their work is second to none, and their culture follows suit, whilst they are remote first, they work hard to ensure a strong bond across the team with regularly 121s, monthly team catch ups and social activities that allow the team to regularly come together and they do have an office space they people who are more local are free to use too.
This role is a PR Account Manager position to cover maternity leave, ideally starting in July (but can be flexible).
Within this PR Account Manager role you’ll:
- Be managing client relationships with one of the agencies key clients with a consumer PR focus.
- Have the opportunity to be involved in campaign creation, supported by your brilliant Account Director where needed.
- Create compelling content for press releases and liaising with a range of media contacts, spotting and pitching news stories and features to secure coverage that really makes a difference to your client.
- Line manage 1-2 Account Executives, supporting and guiding them day to day.
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Has a strong PR background gained within an agency environment ideally, but in house experience could also work well.
- Has a highly creative approach, is a great writer and who loves the buzz of securing client coverage.
- Is happy with a fixed term contract position, based remotely with monthly travel to the midlands.
